The Berea Kiwanis was the first civic organization for men formed in the community of Berea, Ky. It was organized August 22, 1922. The prime purpose of the club is to sponsor and foster such activities that will lead to community betterment. The motto of Kiwanis International "We Build" predominates the aims and purposes of the club year after year. Each year specific objectives are prepared by Kiwanis International to serve as a guide to Kiwanis Clubs.
